Sarah walton typeface and developement
I have booked in to use the embroidery machine to have a go at making Sarah's logo for her identity.
The machine is limited to a number of typefaces. I identity needs to be fun and young but be set of in a professional manor. So i have chosen the typeface frank furter.
"A truly fun typeface that emerged in the 1970’s and remains popular to this day. This heavy sans serif face with curved terminals has been used extensively in display typography where a modern, but informal appearance is needed."
I have chosen a number of typeface to see what the outcome of using the machine is. I plan to get the typeface embroided then scan it in and go from there. it could be part of the logo treatment or the actual mark itself.
the other typefaces i have chosen are helvetica medium to create a trendy young contemporary look and foam bold helvetica to add more of a fun element.
