I think i shall develop the more simple designs more and work out if text is needed or not but i do feel that courier could be the typeface to go for as it was developed for using within code and gives of suggestion's of technology and future.
The use of the bold large sans serif typefaces does not match the line weight of the the qr code so I don't think this is appropriate.
